In the bigger part of Budva Municipality is started with applying the construction prohibition

For those who don’t respect decisions penalties up to 11.000 eur.

Budva.  Communal police warned all the citizens yesterday and building investors that in the period of tourist season is forbidden to start and proceed with all the construction works without previously getting the approval from the Department for resident and communal affairs. Communal police yesterday stated that the construction prohibition in the second construction zone will last until 15^th of September.

The second zone, which is at the same time the biggest construction space on the Riviera of Budva and contains settlements above Adriatic main road and Dubovica, Babin do, Bijeli do, Rozino, Podkosljun, Boreti, Ivanovici, Becici, Podlicak, Trap, Vrijesno, Petrovac and Buljarica.

The construction prohibition in the first zone started two weeks ago, but from the communal police decided to tolerate in some limits for the investors to finish the started work.  From yesterday, all the works should have been stopped, and the construction places preserved until September.

-       We are warning all the investors and builders that no matter if they have all the approvals for construction, the officers of communal police will sanction all the persons in charge in the companies , as well as physical persons  with penalties from 110 eur – 11.000 eur. – was said yesterday from communal police.

The construction prohibition in the third  zone , which contains marginal settlements and rural area, will start from 15^th of June until 15^th of September.

Are the investors really going to respect the decision of Municipality , and also is the communal police really going to sanction not respecting it, will all be seen . The fact is that on some building places in Budva yesterday the construction machines were working.

The constructors don’t care for the decisions

The big investment cycle, which started last year , according to predictions of Municipality , until year 2010. will achieve the sum of milliard euros.

At the moment, in Budva there are works conducting on infrastructure, luxurious business-trade center  “TQ City”, whose value is estimated as 60 million of euros , new hotel complexes, and renovating of the old ones. Beside this, there are 20 big residential buildings being built for the market. Also, they are working on building of the University building, 2 kinder gardens  and primary school.

Just now, there are works performing on the building of two boulevards, and rebuilding of hotels “Avala” and “As”.
